Sports Day

The Kids of Asahan spent every English lesson inside the school, so one day we decided to have a Sports Day and took them outside. Firstly we did some sketching and labelling of the area to teach vocabulary words such as ‘tree’, ‘boat’ and ‘flower’. Then we set up a drinks station and used coloured string that was donated to create 4 lanes. We did an egg and spoon race, individual sprint, pass the water balloon in teams and then ‘how high can you throw the water balloon and catch it without it breaking’ which was a highlight for everyone. It’s the small joys and effort that can make such a difference, but most of all to just have some organised fun! @Milly
